even so, this next episode may kill this show.

It's because this episode won't be filled with "teh actionz". It's gonna be boring love stories and nothing exciting will happen. It'll be fake, stereotypical and unrealistic.

Please note these are not my feelings, just my generalizations as to what the uninformed complaints about episode 3 will probably be. I liked the intro and am looking forward to the episode. Despite Band covering a far shorter time period, we never had an entire episode dedicated to time between fighting. The closest we got was Points, the last episode.

No, Leckie, Basilone and the rest of the First Marine Division get sent to Melbourne, Australia where they proceed to put a dent in Australia's supply of XXXX lager and have their way with nubile Antipodean lasses. :D

Sledge, on the other hand, will have just enlisted...

I'm looking forward to it. We may finally get to know the guys a bit more. That was one thing about BoB. Starting at Toccoa, you got a sense of who these men were going into D-Day. Plus, having read Helmet For My Pillow, some really funny things happen in Melbourne. Yes, it'll be a break from high stakes action, but I think it'll be a good episode.

Look´s nice this could be an eppisode where you really live in the caracters self if you dont get to know the caracters to well you dont have an ''emotional'' band with it in the rest of the episodes, like at least i did in Band of Brothers

Celtic, we don't drink that XXXX lager garbage down here in Melbourne mate. It's all Victoria Bitter and Melbourne Bitter. We do however consume copious amounts of nubile Antipodean lasses though :D :D

Apologies to our beer drinking brethren Down Under! :D

Hard to find Australian beer here other than Foster's but have had VB and the aforementioned XXXX. Didn't find it to be all that bad, but then again when compared to the coyote spit that is most American beer anything is tasty... :D

(And before any of my fellow Yanks get on me about my American beer comment, I said "most", not "all" ;) )

I spent 3 months touring your great country in 1995 and found Millers to be the best tasting beer. Funny how only Fosters is available in the USA. Not many people drink it here. It is a Melbourne beer though so it can't be all bad.

Man, that preview for part 3 looks great...

The views of the knuckle-dragging fart brains on imdb and youtube are just plain crazy talk. But, they have a right to be wrong...er, to their opinion.
