As far as the baby boom after the war, I'd say that was due to all the men coming home from overseas and screwing til they were blue in the face, to put it bluntly!

walking 300 miles back to melbourne, and then getting 'screwed'(not literally) by Stella isnt the best way to leave Melbourne.
