Pacific starts March 14 on HBO at 8pm CST

We’re only about 2 months away from the launch of The Pacific on HBO in the US market (a list of showtimes for other countries will be available shortly). The series will start with the first episode on Sunday, March 14 at 8pm CST through May 16. A new episode will be shown every Sunday, just like how it was done with Band of Brothers in 2001. However, HBO will be re-broadcasting Band of Brothers again starting Sunday, January 3 at 8pm CST and then lead up to The Pacific.

Also, if you haven’t heard, Band of Brothers is now available in a special Blu-Ray edition and has been getting a lot or rave reviews. There are new features included in this spectacular version: dynamic picture-in-picture commentary by Easy Company veterans on all ten episodes and an interactive field guide that charts the path from Normandy to Hitler’s Eagles Nest with timelines, maps and soldier profiles. Of course, there’s also the new sparkling and immersive Blu-Ray high fidelity video and audio that puts you right in the action like never before!
